Meldon, Dartmoor – Gallery

Another recent discovery on one our Devon visits. Its a pay and display car park but on our visits the car park was closed for some works. Fortunately there was parking on the road opposite the entrance, just about.

Devonshire lanes are not the widest roads in the country. They are usually bounded by tall stone embankments, disguised by mosses and hedges. Always best to keep well away from the edges when passing other vehicles.

It wont deter us from another visit though, still plenty to see and explore there on another visit. There is the reservoir its self plus the river that is the run off from the dam.
